Hello again, it’s hard to believe that we are now in the middle of June. Things are progressing with my home project, the concrete was poured and is now curing. There is still much work to be done, but all of the old patio and deck are gone so at least everything now is new.

I’m pretty impressed with how well they have avoided killing the plants in our garden. A few have not made it, but overall our garden will survive. Next week they move onto building back the deck, adding railing, pillars, a new front door and replacing the shutters. |
This week our featured website is called Beautiful Life and it features all things that make our physical world more beautiful. The four primary sections are Web design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design and Interior Design with gorgeous photos and nice write ups of each feature. The item featured in our screen shot is a futuristic luxury villa located on the island of Cyprus. Overall this site itself is a thing of beauty and I never stop finding amazing design within. Now on to this week’s specials: This month we are featuring 15% off all Waterwood solid brass hardware.
These wonderful pieces are hand made in Texas and are of the highest quality. Choose from switch plates, cabinet knobs, drawer pulls, appliance pulls, doorbells and door bell chime boxes (made of wood). Their work together has been recognized by such publications as House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Southern Living and Old House Journal who have all recommended the Waterwood line to their readers. Now you can add them to your home at substantial savings this June only.
We are also currently adding a new exciting artist to our line up, Quality Time of
New Orleans with hand crafted clocks and signs with a taste of New Orleans. Their inspiration was everywhere — in the historic city itself and in the South’s lingering memories tucked away in rural gas stations, old corner grocery stores, roadside diners and glamorous nightspots. Soon their fascination spread to explore Europe’s long tradition of beautiful travel and product posters.
Our top ten list this week is dominated by ceramic switch plates, especially All Fired Up Ceramic Switch Plates. We also have a switch plate by Fellowship Foundry on the list for the first time ever. Fellowship Foundry creates Fantasy oriented solid pewter switch plates. See what else made the top ten this week by looking below.
