Hello and welcome to end of August. School is back in season and the temperature has started to cool off. It has really been great weather to finish up all of those outdoor projects that I was putting off due to the heat of Summer. On the list later today is cleaning up the shelves in the garage.
This week our featured website is the site for McHale Landscape Design Inc. They are a landscape / hardscape design company based in Maryland. They focus on four primary areas landscaping, masonry, carpentry and maintenance, the last being important to make sure their plans are continually implemented properly. My favorite part of their website is their photo gallery which highlights about 100 projects which they have completed. Overall the site could use some design and layout work, but I find their photo gallery to be very useful when thinking of design ideas. (Know of a website we should feature on this blog? Hello and welcome to the first week of August. School will be starting back up soon and for a lot of people that means getting the home organized for the start of a new school year. It’s also a great time to redecorate your children’s rooms and home work spaces. It can something as simple as a small refresh of details like switch plates, drawer knobs and coat hooks to a total redo of everything. It’s up to you and your child.
This week our featured website is the site for the magazine House Trends – Your Destination for Inspiration. This magazine is based here in Dayton Ohio and also has issues printed for Cincinnati, Columbus, Pittsburgh & Tampa Bay. The website and print version both feature a plethora of design and remodeling tips and ideas for every area in your home. Now on to this week’s special: This week has been the start of 15%

Hello and welcome to the last day in July. I can’t believe that August starts tomorrow. So many plans for Summer haven’t even happened yet, but at least a few great times have been had and some major projects are finished. Is there anything you’ve been planning on completing this Summer?

Hello and welcome to the first full week of May, I can’t believe we are five months into the year already. This month we are featuring 35% off all Mercury Mosaics ceramic switch plates. They have over 25,000 skyscraper diagrams ordered by height and by city. You can look up your city and see how many skyscrapers they have listed. For the record Dayton has 38 buildings listed with diagrams of 18 of them. |
