Hello and welcome to the first full week of May, I can’t believe we are five months into the year already. This month we are featuring 35% off all Mercury Mosaics ceramic switch plates.  This week’s feature website is SkyScraperPage. If you enjoy architecture and looking at skyscrapers then this site is a must see. They have over 25,000 skyscraper diagrams ordered by height and by city. You can look up your city and see how many skyscrapers they have listed. For the record Dayton has 38 buildings listed with diagrams of 18 of them. |

Hello and welcome to our latest post for April, many of the flowers are blooming as well as allergies. I’ve finally started to catch up on getting my yard in order and start on some of those projects I’ve been waiting all Winter to do. the big question is will I actually have enough time to do them all?
Steampunk Home

I hope everybody is enjoying the snow this week, because there seems to be no way of escaping it. From what I heard all 50 states 
had some snow on the ground this week. This week we travel to Shepperton, Middlesex England to look at a great home interior decorating / remodeling website I came across called Concept Interior. They focus on kitchens and bathrooms, but feature a full range of options for your whole home. they also have an excellent photo galley of past projects. Their tendency is toward open, airy, modern looking designs that blend in with the adjoining rooms to create a natural flow.
This month we have 20% off all diamond plate aluminum switch plates for the hot rod and industrial look. We also recently added the full collection of switch plates, doorbells and wall signs from Flopping Fish. Also, we sadly learned that Mercury Mosaics will no longer be making ceramic switch plates.  It is the first week of February and winter has finally hit us with our first decent snowfall. I always like the look of freshly fallen snow. It gives everything such a nice, new clean look.

Hello and welcome to the last posting of January. Winter and all of the cold is now upon us and it’s a great time to stay inside. This week I have a site to share from a home remodeler in Minneapolis who specializes in basements 
and bath remodeling: Jeffrey Grosscup. The site itself primary lets the designs speak for themselves. With great photography of the wide open and well lit rooms it’s hard not to feel inspired by his designs. There are some great before and after shots of some projects which show just how dramatic the changes have been.

Well, 2010 is now in full swing and I’m looking at the many projects I want to get done around the house. Always a great time to go out looking for inspiration, and I found a great blog this week 
relating to design and decor called Vamp Decor. It features all manner of furniture and architectural design elements. The suite isn’t very old, but I love the ideas they have posted and see it as a great place to get some good ideas.

Hi everybody and welcome to another weekly update. Everything that has happened this week has been massively overshadowed by the tragedy in Haiti. It’s great to hear how many people have donated and all the rescue workers who are doing their best to help the people. If you haven’t already donated there are some really easy ways to help out. My favorite is the $10 text donation to the Red Cross. 
If you text the word “HAITI” to 90999 the donation will appear on your cell phone carrier bill and 100% of the donation will go towards aid to Haiti. Another great way to help is to give blood, since there are even more people than usual in need due to the massive number of trauma cases.

DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS – Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France in 1971.

We are now into December and it definitely feels like Winter, I haven’t seen any snow yet, but it is on the horizon. All around people are hanging up holiday lights and getting into the spirit of the season.
