These glass mirror switch plates are made from quality 3/16 inch (5 mm) thick glass and have highly polished 5/16 inch (8 mm) wide beveled edges. Made in China and includes screws and spacers.

NOTE: Some types of installation situations may require the use of a supplied screw spacer to compensate for uneven fixture placement. Without a spacer, the plate may break when the screw is tightened. Full instructions included with switch plate.

Paint It – Use the same paint used on the surrounding walls for an exact match. The coverPlug is made of a material that is paintable.
Press It Into Place – The posts on the back of the coverPlug align with the ground openings of a double outlet. No tools are necessary; just press it firmly into place. Remove the coverPlug if the outlet is needed and repaint/re-use as your decor changes.
Outlets Disappear – The entire outlet is covered and, when painted, the coverPlug will blend perfectly with the surrounding wall. Removable by an adult, but secure enough that a child will not be able to pull it out. By creating seamless walls, the coverPlug provides a visual and physical barrier to the outlet.

The exposed growth rings and spalting pattern on these switch plates offer a unique, earthy look. This not only intrigues the eye, but accentuates the warmth of a natural home.

The alder wood used for these switch plates is enhanced using a process called “spalting” to bring out the beauty of the hardwood — allowing the wood to reveal both its spalting pattern and a cross-section of the tree’s growth rings.

The resulting products exhibit a rich mixture of red and brown earth tones, blended with streaks of a lighter honey color — giving each unique piece a warm and weathered character.
