I know that I sure enjoy it and on this website you have thousands at your fingertips (or should I say mouse clicks). For something really unique check out her abstract people switch plates line. Good Night Irene! is a one-woman studio in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. She’s been working with polymer clay since 1992, and started creating light switch plates almost immediately. Irene is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild and a founding member and past president of the Blue Ridge Polymer Clay Guild. She’s also authored and produced work for three books on polymer clay, published by Lark Books, and has contributed projects to numerous other publications.

Hello and welcome to the the third week of August. School is about ready to start and all of the kids are trying to pack in last minute fun for the Summer. Right now is also a great time to finish off those Summer home projects.
This week our featured website is the site for Elegant Home Services.They are a remodeling / design company based in Virginia. The primary goal of Elegant Home Services is to renew your home and to make it the best it can be. From a simple replacement of gutters to a complete rebuild of an existing home they take it all on. Hello and welcome to the first week of August. School will be starting back up soon and for a lot of people that means getting the home organized for the start of a new school year. It’s also a great time to redecorate your children’s rooms and home work spaces. Now on to this week’s special: This week has been the start of 15%

We are now into the final week of July and I have not updated this blog since the end of June. Sorry for the absence but I was in Turkey for a few weeks and then out of town again so the blog just didn’t happen.
I saw a lot of amazing things on my trip but one of the most inspiring was the Library at Ephesus from 74 AD. Seeing such a unique building that was almost two thousand years old was beyond belief. Of course the whole city of Ephesus just blew me away with how much was still preserved and the intricate details everywhere.
This week our featured website is the Turkish architecture firm Emre Arolat Architects. The site itself is very well 
designed with a lot of white space and minimal clutter. This is really appreciated when you get to their section on works and the whole page centers on the clear, crisp photos of their projects. We are now into the final week of June and I really staring to wonder where half the year went. Our home project is finally done and it looks as good as we had hoped. Well, we are now into the third week of June and Summer is in full swing. Things are almost with my home project, the concrete is done, new deck built, columns, installed, new door, new shutters and the upstairs railing is almost finished. Just one more day of work and it will be fully transformed.

Overall I’m very happy with the new look, I think it’s a lot cleaner and more modern. We were almost too late to notice that one of the pillars would have been right in front of our picture window. It hadn’t mattered before since the pillars were wrought iron and more like screens. |
This week our featured website is Grace – A Place of Restoration. Grace is an antiques / interior design store in Missouri which sells architectural salvage, antiques and home decor, they also mention coffee and dessert in their logo which makes it even better. The whole store and overall theme is relaxed beauty. Housed in a former church built in 1854 “Grace” exudes style and well grace. Just seeing this site makes me want to take a trip to Rocheport, MO so I can visit the store in person. I think I see a road trip in my future. Know of a website we should feature on this blog?
